Materials we use
Food-safe, non-toxic printing
Our inks are food-safe and non-toxic. No solvents, no heavy metals, nothing that isn't approved for contact with food.
They're cured into the surface, so the print stays put. It won't lift, bleed, or transfer onto food, and it holds up in a wet glass or a chilled display without running. It doesn't affect taste or smell.
And because the inks are made for compostable and recyclable products, printing doesn't change how the item breaks down. A printed bamboo pick composts the same way a blank one does.

Does printing affect compostability?
No. Our inks are food-safe and made for compostable and recyclable products, so a printed item breaks down the same way a blank one does.
Do these materials perform as well as plastic?
Yes. Sugarcane containers are heat-pressed and handle hot, cold, and saucy foods. Bamboo and wood hold up to normal service without splintering or going soft.
Do they cost more?
No, wood and bamboo items are the cheapest items we sell. All customizable items are priced based on volume price breaks.
